
15 Feb The Cinefòrum for Equality 2018 proposes seven films with a colloquium until November
Mama, by Julio Medem, will open the cycle next Monday.
The City Council of Terrassa, through the Gender Policy service, organizes a new edition of the Cinefòrum per l’Igualtat, which will bring to Catalonia cinema seven films with their respective colloquiums this year. The first film of the cycle will be Mama, by Julio Medem, which will be screened on Monday, February 19, at 4:30 p.m. The conference will be enhanced by representatives of the Catalan Llocs d’Ajuda Oncològica Foundation.
As usual, the Cinefòrum has involved various municipal services, which contribute to providing diverse themes in the program (health, culture, sexual diversity, etc.) in the context of the commitment of the City Council of Terrassa to work across the board for equality .
In addition, the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Diputació de Barcelona, the Basque Women’s Institute, Jazz Terrassa, Ibn Battuta, the Societat Catalana de Tecnologia and the musical journalist Olga Ábalos are also collaborating. In addition, two of the sessions dedicated to the documentaries En femme and Volar, will have the presence of their protagonists.
From February until November there will be a session per month, except for the three summer months:

- April 9, 16.30 pm: Hidden figures by Theodore Melfi
- May 28, 4.30 pm: Maudie, the color of life, by Aisling Walsh
- June 25, 7 pm: In Femme, by Alba Barbé
- October 8, 7 pm: Bar Bahar, by Maysaloun Hamoud
- November 12, 4.30 pm: Fly, by Bertha Gaztelumendi
